Job Overview

Position Summary:

This role is crucial for the efficient operation of power material handling equipment, ensuring the precise selection, palletization, and staging of beverage and non-alcoholic orders for distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing a power jack to select products via a voice-picking headset and stack them onto pallets.
  • Arranging pallets in various configurations based on load requirements and product specifications.
  • Transporting materials and items from warehouse locations to designated areas.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in assigned warehouse sections.
  • Achieving a minimum selection rate of 175 to 200 cases per hour.
  • Participating in mandatory overtime as needed, with consideration for personal commitments.
  • Completing daily tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Contributing to a respectful and productive workplace environment.
  • Adhering to attendance policies.
  • Wearing appropriate and approved uniforms.
  • Attending required meetings and training sessions.
  • Understanding and following all safety protocols to prevent injuries and damages.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Prior experience operating a pallet jack or forklift is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure to meet operational goals.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with the voice-picking system.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Regular use of hands for handling and reaching overhead.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
  • Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing.
  • Specific vision capabilities including close and distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment:

Employees may experience:

  • Frequent exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Wet and slippery surfaces.
  • Moderate to high noise levels from equipment.
  • Seasonal stress based on operational demands.

Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
