About the Role

Nutanix is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for Nutanix Database Service (NDB), a database automation offering that simplifies managing database infrastructure at scale. As a key member of the Product and Solutions Marketing team, you will drive marketing strategy and execution for NDB, including positioning and messaging, campaigns and tactics, content creation and publishing, sales enablement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in the database management landscape, industry trends, and competitor activities to serve as a knowledge resource for internal teams.
  • Own the messaging framework for NDB, including value propositions, use cases, customer personas, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop creative strategies to drive awareness for NDB in targeted industries, including financial services, healthcare, and public sector.
  • Be a recognized and respected spokesperson for NDB, representing the product at customer briefings, webinars, conferences, and sales/partner enablement sessions.
  • Own and coordinate NDB product launches, including content creation, sales enablement, and press and analyst outreach.
  • Develop narratives for key news moments—industry events, partner conferences, analyst briefings, and.NEXT.
  • Collaborate with partners, including database ISVs and systems integrators, to develop and execute joint marketing initiatives and Go-To-Market strategies.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience in the database management or cloud services market.
  • Strong domain expertise in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, cloud databases, Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS), and database automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience), MBA preferred.
  • A humble team player with a bias for action and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • The ability to think strategically while also executing as an individual contributor.
  • A self-starter who takes the initiative, works independently, and thrives in a rapidly growing company.
  • A proven track record in supporting global sales teams to meet revenue goals.
