About the Role

Eide Bailly is seeking a highly skilled Tax Associate/Senior Associate to join our team. As a key member of our tax and wealth transition team, you will be responsible for working with clients to assist them with the transition of wealth from one generation to the next.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns by required deadlines.
  • Work with the tax and wealth transition team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed.
  • Collaborate with the national Wealth Transition Services team on various projects.
  • Work with clients to ensure relevant tax-related information is gathered so that an accurate tax return can be prepared.
  • Analyze the tax situation of the individual and their estate from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
  • Attend professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
  • Effectively interact with all levels of staff, clients, and other external business contacts.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to notice issues while bringing solutions to the table.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, valid CPA license or working towards obtaining CPA license preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
  • 1 or more years of experience in public accounting tax work.
