Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality and Test Technician Lead to join our team at Park Place Technologies. As a key member of our Quality and Test team, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day direction to lab employees and direct them in the absence of management
• Assist in planning and procurement, including part identification and supplier-related issues
• Take a lead role as a subject matter expert in areas such as test methods, new hardware and systems integration, and other related areas
• Train and guide new and less knowledgeable Q&T employees
• Ensure the lab is stocked with appropriate supplies at all times
• Assist procurement with technical RMA information
• Assist in ensuring priority orders are completed within the required timeframe
• Maintain lab organization and cleanliness
• Help establish new test procedures
• Interface directly with Planning & Procurement, Warehouse, Support, and other PPT departments as well as PPT Suppliers
• Ensure all Q&T personnel are cross-trained in all relevant system operations
• Direct Q&T employees in managers' absence
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a team lead position
• Experience in the 3rd party hardware service industry or hardware resale is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016
• Working understanding of a data center environment
• Ability to create, manage, and administer an image deployment server over a local network
• Working knowledge of the Dell, NetApp, EMC, Data Domain, IBM, and HP product lines
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as red books, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals
• Demonstrated ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to correspond with customer requests
• Reliable for maintaining a high level of concentration while handling multiple requests at the same time to ensure accuracy
• A detail-oriented, team player
• A good attendance record and commitment to work
• Experience with Excel and familiarity with Great Plains and Astea software
