Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will lead and perform testing, maintenance, and repair of low and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and motor control equipment in the shop and in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to minimize downtime and maximize system availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical system upgrades and modifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and field crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and company regulations, as well as adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of testing, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical systems and technologies.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in power plants, industrial services, and related protection and control schemes.
  • High school diploma or GED; associate degree in electrical engineering technology preferred.
  • Licensures and Certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred.
  • Experience with Power DB and electro-mechanical and solid-state relays and meters is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
