Telecommunications Construction Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled OSP Construction Coordinator to join our team at Project Resources Group in Pocatello, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside plant telecommunications construction, with experience in cable fiber installation for both aerial and underground scenarios.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing walkouts pre/post-construction, verifying as-builts, and troubleshooting any build-out issues in the field. They will also be responsible for verifying that subcontractors have the necessary PPE gear to perform work, identifying permitting requirements as needed, and communicating with customers in the path of construction.
In the office, the OSP Construction Coordinator will be responsible for compiling notice-to-proceed (NTP) packages for contractors, providing weekly reports to management on construction activity, and following up with city municipalities regarding permitting issues.
The ideal candidate will have three or more years of hands-on experience in cable construction, be educated on local area dig laws, and possess strong leadership skills to mentor and influence subcontractors and vendors. They will also have excellent customer service skills, be able to organize and prioritize projects, and have a strong understanding of fiber construction and engineering.
Computer skills, including G Suite and Microsoft Office, are required to create, manage, and present data and reporting to various stakeholders and management. The successful candidate will also be able to work overtime occasionally to meet project demands and be willing to use their vehicle in the field with mileage reimbursement at the standard federal rate.
Project Resources Group offers a competitive salary of $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience, as well as health benefits, company-paid Short-term Disability benefits, a 401(k) Plan, and Supplemental Life Insurance.
