Job Description

At FA Engineering, we're committed to providing opportunities for individuals to start their careers in the engineering field. Our federally recognized Drafting Apprentice program offers in-house training with no prior experience required. As a Drafting Assistant, you'll participate in the design of various systems and structures for industrial processes and industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop technical drawings and documents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet project objectives
  • Participate in the development of CAD software skills
  • Work in a professional team environment

Requirements:
  • Proficient general computer knowledge
  • Teamwork mentality and ability to coordinate with coworkers

  • Ability to pass CAD software skills test after two weeks of training

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to access and navigate all areas of construction sites
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
