About the Role

Farnsworth Group is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor or Surveyor in Training to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for conducting and performing boundary and topographical surveys, construction layouts, and oil and gas surveys. This role will involve a combination of office and field work, with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and perform boundary and topographical surveys, construction layouts, and oil and gas surveys
  • Use GPS, robotic total station, and data collectors to collect and process survey data
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation to create and edit survey plans and maps
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and right-of-way plans
  • Experience in boundary research and coordination with field crews
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
Requirements
  • Missouri Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying
  • Proficiency in Trimble Business Office to process files and work establishing or converting coordinate control
  • Valid driver's license
