Land Survey Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Technician to join our team at Yoh. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in surveying and a strong background in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft accurate deed and reference maps to represent survey data.
- Prepare and configure survey data for efficient field operations.
- Analyze and convert post-survey data for project completion.
- Execute construction layout calculations and as-built surveys.
- Produce grade sheets and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys with precision.
- Conduct topographic analysis and generate Metes & Bounds descriptions.
- Create FEMA Elevation certificates and Subdivision Plans/Lot Consolidation Plans.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to CAD Drafters.
- Collaborate with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
- Develop mapping solutions using field crew data collector files.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of surveying experience with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong mathematical aptitude for accurate calculations.
- Proven track record of delivering clean and precise plan presentations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of field survey operations and the engineering/construction industry.
- Effective communication and task organization skills.
- Ability to adapt to new software and technologies.
