Job Summary

At Barrel House, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, executing orders, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for menu items in a neat, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Order Execution: Follow prep lists and execute orders to the highest standards, ensuring strict and exact recipe and portioning adherence.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate all kitchen equipment and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
