Job Title: Assistant Front Office Manager

Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided to all guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel front office operations and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in managing the front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and key control.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accurate and efficient processing of guest transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of departmental management or supervisory experience in hotel front office.
  • Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently.
  • Prior cash handling experience necessary.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
  • Computer experience required.
