Key Responsibilities:

The employee will oversee the daily operations of front-line staff within their designated service area. The individual will ensure that performance metrics and customer service standards are achieved while ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines established by the Company and its clients.

Core Duties / Essential Functions: (Additional tasks may be assigned.)
  • Oversee and manage staffing levels in collaboration with the local Human Resources Department.
    • Ensure future schedules are prepared (days off, vacations, etc.)
    • Address all call-offs promptly.
    • Adjust staffing in response to client requests.
  • Coordinate employee meal breaks and rest periods.
  • Administer the No-Fault Attendance Policy.
  • Maintain regular communication with Client representatives regarding operational matters.
  • Organize daily work schedules.
  • Keep a daily shift report for management review.
  • Perform basic administrative and payroll tasks (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with other Duty Managers/Supervisors to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Provide effective coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions for employees.
  • Work alongside the Safety Quality Manager to uphold safety and security standards.
  • Exemplify a positive and professional demeanor for the workforce.
  • Ensure compliance of front-line employees with all safety, security, quality, and regulatory standards established by the Company and its clients.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties:
  • Leads and manages front-line employees.
Qualifications:

Language Proficiency:
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English. Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as safety regulations, operational manuals, and employee handbooks.
  • Capable of presenting information clearly, both verbally and in writing, and responding to inquiries from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations in various units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Skills:
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Capable of addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must adhere to the Company's grooming standards and display the required identification badge at all times.
  • Must comply with and enforce all policies outlined in the ABM Corporation Employee Handbook, including but not limited to the Company's Zero Tolerance Policy regarding Discrimination and Harassment, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy.
Education:

A high school diploma or GED is required. A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Experience:

Prior management experience is preferred.

General Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be available to work as scheduled.
