Job Title: Technical Supervisor Job Summary: As a Technical Supervisor at Universal Orlando, you will oversee the maintenance activities for rides, shows, and guest interactive areas. You will manage routine, expense, and capital budgets, supervise hourly personnel, and ensure the highest level of customer service. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise all ride maintenance with hands-on involvement, ensuring all mechanical and electrical equipment is maintained in like new condition. • Respond to attraction interruptions and work to resolve issues in an expedient manner. • Interface with Operations counterparts to ensure delivery of quality product and maintain a high level of positive customer service. • Manage the planning and scheduling process for respective work areas, including preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and part procurement. • Analyze operational performance of attractions and manage priorities of maintenance activities. • Supervise and lead training and development of all direct reports, administering development plans and managing schedules and personnel records. • Ensure safety compliance of assigned area of responsibility and ensure compliance to all Universal Orlando policies and procedures. • Execute a preventative and predictive maintenance plan that minimizes downtime, maintains records of completed maintenance, and coordinates work efforts with operational needs of attractions. • Ensure all areas of responsibility are in compliance with ASTM F-24 guidelines and original manufacturer's requirements. • Focus on fiscal responsibility, ensuring budget spending is controlled and reported properly, and assist in building mitigation plans for budget overages. • Contribute to the building and managing of routine budgets for responsible area, including all expenses needed to achieve goals. • Monitor overtime for responsible area, ensuring only used when absolutely necessary. • Contribute to the building of capital and expense plans for responsible area as required. Requirements: • High school degree or GED is required. • Technical school is preferred. • Associate's degree (AA) in General Education or Technology is preferred. • 5 to 7 years in technical and trade experience are required. • 1 to 3 years supervisory experience is required. • NAARSO level 1 certification is required within one year of service hire date.
