Role Overview:
As a Vascular Intervention Technologist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Acquiring and processing imaging data.
  • Offering emergency on-call assistance when necessary.

The perfect candidate will:
  • Possess a minimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Registered Technologist (preferred but not mandatory).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize sterile techniques to assist in vascular and interventional procedures.
  • Establish collaborative relationships to enhance process improvement.
  • Educate patients about procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and operate necessary equipment for imaging.
  • Monitor and maintain imaging systems and equipment.
  • Participate in the training of new staff and students.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography or Vascular-Interventional Radiology is preferred.
  • Current state licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Work Environment:
Our facility demands a high level of expertise in radiologic physics and vascular imaging. The ability to work independently and manage high-stress situations is essential.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires prolonged standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift and assist patients of varying weights.
