Cleveland Clinic is seeking exceptional candidates for the role of Interventional Radiologist within our esteemed faculty as we enhance our clinical offerings.
This role necessitates formal fellowship training in Interventional Radiology. Our institution, a prestigious mid-western subspecialty medical center, features a comprehensive 1400+ bed main hospital, along with various ambulatory care facilities and a dedicated research institute.
Our integrated practice includes eight additional community hospitals, ensuring a robust collaborative environment. The Interventional Section boasts a rich legacy of providing outstanding care for patients suffering from a range of conditions, including Vascular, Hepatobiliary, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, and Oncologic diseases.
We are equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic imaging and interventional technology, featuring six angiography labs at our main campus and additional facilities at our community hospitals, alongside an active MRA/CTA program.
Our clinic operates with a dedicated focus on Interventional Radiology, complemented by multidisciplinary clinics for specialized conditions such as liver tumors and vascular malformations. Our outpatient clinic sees between 5-10 patients daily, supported by a proficient team of 15 Advanced Nurse Practitioners/Physicians' Assistants and 3 Radiologist Assistants.
Our annual procedural volume exceeds 10,000 at the main campus and over 5,000 at our community hospitals, covering a wide array of vascular interventions.
We routinely conduct diagnostic cholangiography, transhepatic biliary drainage, and various other interventions, including pulmonary artery angioplasty and thrombectomy for both acute and chronic conditions.
Our commitment to education is reflected in our two ACGME approved Integrated IR Residency positions and four Independent IR Residency positions annually, emphasizing resident training and development.
Ideal candidates will possess comprehensive training in vascular and interventional radiology procedures, with a strong interest in education and research. Experience with pediatric procedures is advantageous.
Our dedicated research group supports clinical trials and studies, particularly in the realm of liver tumor research, with a fully staffed lab for basic research.
