Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Leadership Position is a key role in our organization, responsible for supervising a team of assemblers and ensuring the efficient operation of our production floor. This individual will be expected to promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations, measured by productivity and efficiency
- Plan cross-training and assign daily work tasks
- Train, coach, and develop team members as needed
- Complete or delegate work order administration
- Ensure quality and standardized work compliance, measured by DPPM and IDPMU/FPY
- Develop trainers of standardized work, line clearance, TPMs, and job duties
- Conduct process conformance reviews and training competency reviews
- Safety, 6S, and Lean initiatives, measured by safety incidents, 6S score, and lean score
- Timely completion and team member understanding of safety training topics
- Develop team member competence and enthusiasm regarding 6S
We are seeking an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong background in leadership and supervision. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, business)
- Minimum 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Excellent interaction and team work skills
- Goal-oriented with a high degree of activity and enthusiasm
- Ability to understand manufacturing processes and communicate with technical support staff
