Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and guiding clients through clinic procedures.
  • Oversee Wellness Center personnel and ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures.
  • Supervise Clinic Assistants, ensuring efficient processes and positive client interactions.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new team members, ensuring accuracy in their work.
  • Foster ongoing development and support for all Wellness Center staff.
  • Lead the team to achieve performance targets and objectives.
  • Address and document staff-related issues, following up as necessary.
  • Handle client concerns, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for Wellness Center staff.
  • Manage employee time cards and payroll submissions through ADP.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and arrange replacements for absences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with location management and staff.
  • Assess pet lifestyles to recommend appropriate preventive care and vaccinations.
  • Advise clients on vaccines, tests, products, and microchips in alignment with company protocols.
  • Promote additional services, such as nail trimming, to clients.
  • Ensure proper handling and security of Wellness Center equipment and supplies.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock assessments.
  • Update point-of-sale materials and order replacements as needed.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including daily paperwork and end-of-day reconciliations.
  • Respond to client inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
  • Administer treatments under the supervision of a veterinarian.
  • Complete necessary Health Certificates and fill prescriptions.
  • Conduct microchip scans for pets.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the clinic environment.
  • Ensure all clinical areas are functioning effectively.
  • Embody and promote our core values with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing a team of three or more.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work weekends and varied shifts.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
  • Punctuality and reliability are highly valued.
  • Willingness to engage in outdoor clinic activities as needed.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience in customer service or sales.
  • Familiarity with technology, including iPads and Bluetooth devices.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Comfort in engaging with customers to promote clinic services.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Experience in veterinary or retail management is advantageous.
  • Enjoyment of working with a variety of pets, including handling and lifting as necessary.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and customer service best practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform essential job functions safely and effectively, adhering to relevant standards.
  • Consistent attendance is required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Assistance may be needed for lifting up to 150 lbs.
