Key Responsibilities:

As a critical member of our team, the Commercial Installer works closely with commercial customers to set up and program integrated security fire and security systems. This includes dismantling and reconstructing equipment as required.

How You Will Make a Difference:
  • Install and configure security devices, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and minimize waste.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to schedule installations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and follow proper wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.
  • Test system operations to ensure proper service establishment.
  • Read and interpret building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required.
  • Coordinate installations with local authorities and maintain necessary records.
  • May lead installation teams on larger projects and coach less experienced installers.
  • Travel required, utilizing company-provided vehicles and equipment.
What We Look For:

Required:
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Some technical school training is a plus
  • Electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with Fire Access, Burglar Alarms, and Cameras
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to operate fleet vehicles safely
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
  • NICET Certification
  • Access Control certifications
  • CCTV certifications
  • Experience bending conduit
