Job Title: Principal Industrial Security Analyst

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. This includes studying and implementing federal security regulations that apply to company operations, obtaining rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies, and preparing manuals outlining regulations and establishing procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  • Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  • Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  • Conducts security education classes and security audits.
  • Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Requirements:
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 9 years of related experience; OR 5 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 3 plus year of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
  • Must have an Active U.S. Government secret clearance and able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Working knowledge of Corporate and Govt. systems: NISS & SIMS.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing facility.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must have OPSEC Level II certification, Security+ certification.
  • Familiarity with Agile Systems Engineering processes.
Benefits:

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $84,600 - $127,000, as well as a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
