Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated K-12 Educator to join our team at Uncommon Schools. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for implementing our curriculum and ensuring the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet our high academic standards.
  • Assessment and Data Analysis: Analyze student progress and use data to inform instructional practices.
  • Student Learning and Support: Create a positive and structured learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with students, families, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational community.
  • Professional Growth and Development: Commit to ongoing professional development and participate in training and coaching opportunities to enhance instructional practices.

Additional Requirements
  • Experience in Urban Education: Prior experience working in urban schools and/or communities is preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of high achievement in the classroom.
  • Education and Certification: Valid State Certification and Master's degree are helpful but not required.
Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: Starting compensation for this role is between $59,000 to $83,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
