About the Team:
The Fundamentum team, previously recognized as Selling Partner Infrastructure, is dedicated to delivering robust platform infrastructure that enables Amazon teams to create secure, user-friendly, and global applications for web, mobile, and APIs.
This infrastructure supports millions of Partners weekly who are engaged in various Amazon business programs, along with Builders from several internal teams developing solutions tailored for them.
We offer frameworks, tools, and processes for web and mobile application development, allowing Builders to efficiently provide high-quality experiences. Furthermore, we innovate and manage experiences across navigation, mobile, and account-based tools to foster business growth for our Partners.
Our objective is to ensure that Partners consistently receive a uniform experience, regardless of the selling channel.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to develop infrastructure supporting our Enterprise Authorization (EA) System.
In this role, you will oversee projects that span the organization and contribute to establishing scalable mechanisms for EA within Fundamentum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to establish strategy, define the product, and make informed trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch.
- Prioritize use cases, define features, own the product roadmap, and segment customers.
- Engage with service owners and partner teams to identify integration opportunities and drive product initiatives.
- Anticipate potential bottlenecks, manage risks and escalations, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
- Create communication channels for collaboration across senior leadership in the broader Consumer sector.
- Document, maintain, and report on program processes.
- Identify and manage operational best practices with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with Senior and VP-level partners, both in writing and verbally.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing events.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management with software engineering teams.
- Proven experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, establishing sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs to drive multimillion-dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Amazon is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by several factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
