Job Summary

The Software Development Associate will assist in the development and implementation of custom software solutions for Ardent Mills.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development Support: Assist in coding, testing, and debugging software applications to meet project requirements
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to learn best practices and contribute to team objectives
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and security protocols
  • Learning and Development: Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies to continually improve your skills and the development process
  • Project Assistance: Help track project milestones and timelines, providing support to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Familiarity with .NET framework and C# programming
  • Knowledge of Angular, including its core principles like components, services, and directives
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database management
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Working knowledge of agile development practices and team collaboration tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Azure Active Directory
  • Some knowledge of C# and its features like LINQ, async/await, and Entity Framework
  • Knowledge of cloud design patterns, microservices architecture, and containerization with tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Creating and managing RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core
  • Basic understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies

Employment Type: Full time

Additional Information:

We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences.

Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate's unique set of skills and level of experience.

The starting range for this position is $64, $86,533.70, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience.

We believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved.

While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 5% Annual.
