Job Summary

The Building Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and systems. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building systems and be able to analyze problems and take corrective action. They will also be able to communicate effectively with superiors, peers, and subordinates.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Analyze problems and take corrective action
  • Communicate effectively with superiors, peers, and subordinates
  • Work safely and follow all safety protocols

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC's (or within 90 days of employment)
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders

Working Conditions

The Building Maintenance Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving. They must be able to work safely and follow all safety protocols.
