About This Opportunity

Kansas State University seeks a visionary leader to serve as the next Dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of academic excellence, strategic leadership, and a deep understanding of the land-grant mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the College of Health and Human Sciences
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to advance the College's mission and goals
  • Lead and manage a diverse team of faculty and staff to achieve academic excellence and innovation
  • Foster partnerships with external stakeholders to advance the College's research, extension, and engagement initiatives
  • Ensure the College's programs and services are aligned with the University's strategic goals and priorities
Requirements
  • Terminal degree in a relevant field
  • Proven record of academic leadership and administrative experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in fund development and external fundraising
  • Knowledge of program accreditation and clinical or experiential learning
  • Ability to develop and implement interdisciplinary and international programs
  • Experience in transformational change and innovation initiatives
