JOB REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
General Responsibilities for All Team Members
- Operate all necessary equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
- Prepare food products.
- Receive and process customer orders via phone.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis.
TRAINING
Comprehensive orientation and on-the-job training will be provided.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to understand and provide accurate written instructions. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to process orders both over the phone and in person.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Capability to make accurate monetary change.
- Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
- Hand-eye coordination to perform precise movements quickly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
EXPOSURE TO
- Varied and occasionally challenging weather conditions when performing outdoor tasks.
- In-store temperatures can range from 36 degrees in coolers to over 90 degrees in certain work areas.
- Sudden temperature changes may occur both indoors and outdoors.
- Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
- Working in confined spaces, including walk-in coolers.
- Handling hot surfaces and tools, with temperatures reaching 500 degrees or higher.
- Navigating sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
