Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the general supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist to provide services that promote patient mobility, function, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of physical therapy services, including transportation, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities as outlined by treatment plan and in accordance with state practice guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients, including those with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, set goals, and track progress towards achieving optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Valid NJ state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Graduate of an approved curriculum for Physical Therapy Assistants.
- Ability to function with the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Personal integrity and strong communication skills.
