SportsMed Physical Therapy is a leading physical therapy practice in the Northeast, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary:The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide physical therapy services to older adults within their home/community environment, working closely with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement personalized plans of care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide physical therapy services to older adults in their home/community environment
- Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient
- Maintain communication with Coordinator to successfully schedule patients in a timely manner
- Complete notes thoroughly and within a timely manner
- Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care
- New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant License
- Medicare Billing and Documentation Experience
- Computer Literacy
- Team Player Mentality
- Liability Insurance
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to wear PPE, including masks, face shields, goggles, gloves, and gowns
