Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
- Implement and execute treatment plans, using a range of techniques including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and modalities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and their support systems to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and training to patients and their support systems to empower them to take control of their recovery.
- Oversee support staff, including physical therapist assistants, athletic trainers, and physical therapy aides.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the state of practice (NY, NJ).
- Valid CPR license.
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision.
