Key Responsibilities:- Assist guests with arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Take, modify, and cancel guest reservations, utilizing your excellent communication skills to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision and accuracy, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Post and run night audit reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain the hotel's safety and security standards, ensuring a secure environment for our guests and staff.
- Communicate hotel facilities and services to all guests, providing personalized recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Maintain daily logs, tracking important information and events.
- Deliver express check-out receipts and newspapers as needed, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) is preferred.
- Customer service experience is highly desirable.
- You must be capable of handling money accurately and possess strong reading, math, and communication skills.
- General knowledge of bookkeeping and auditing is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays is required.
