Job Overview:

The Culinary Arts Instructor role involves the organization, planning, execution, and assessment of educational instruction and associated activities. This position includes oversight of the restaurant incubator space, where students acquire hands-on experience as part of the Food Business Management curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and upload course syllabi to the Learning Management System
  • Maintain precise academic records
  • Propose and implement curriculum modifications
  • Provide constructive feedback to students
  • Conduct instructional and practical sessions

Educational Qualifications: Certified Culinary Educator with ACF or Certified Chef; Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServSafe Manager's Certificate or the ability to obtain it
  • At least 7 years of experience in food service management
  • Prior teaching or training experience
  • Familiarity with Toast POS
  • Experience in restaurant finance

Additional Skills Required:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
  • Background in menu development
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Proficient computer skills
