Position Summary: As a Home Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety in a familiar environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage clients in indoor activities, fostering companionship and social interaction
- Facilitate outdoor activities, including walks and outings
- Provide homemaking services, including light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Monitor and remind clients about their medication schedules
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as grooming and hygiene
- Offer specialized care for clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or diabetes
- Provide transportation for clients to run errands
- Supervise clients to prevent falls and ensure safety
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs independently
- Registration with the state as a Health Care Aide (HCA)
- Successful completion of state Live Scan background check and Tuberculosis screening
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide necessary employment verification
Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $16 to $21, based on location, experience, and certifications.
