The Role
We are seeking a Customer Sales Associate for our Residential Parts & Supply Store in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this position, you will serve as a reliable consultant for customers visiting our supply stores, addressing equipment and parts inquiries, providing quality solutions, processing orders, and responding to customer questions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers both in-store and over the phone to thoroughly assess their needs, respond to inquiries, and deliver timely and effective solutions for their HVAC Parts & Supply requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane's product offerings and promotions to effectively partner with customers, enhancing sales by identifying related products and additional needs during interactions.
- Execute quote and order management processes with precision to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery, including entering quotes and invoices while following through on order fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory and warehouse management tasks as needed, including cycle counts, handling back orders, processing purchase orders, and managing shipping and receiving operations. Occasional operation of a forklift and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs may be required.
Qualifications:
A GED or High School Diploma is required. Candidates should have experience in a dynamic, customer-centric environment with a strong emphasis on service, continuous improvement, and safety. A minimum of 2 years in inside sales, retail, or a related field is preferred; familiarity with HVAC sales and a mechanical aptitude is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional customer relationships, even in challenging situations, is essential.
