Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Tax Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive tax strategy that aligns with our business goals.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and international tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and related documentation.
  • Identify Tax Opportunities: Identify opportunities for tax planning and optimization, such as R&D tax credits, transfer pricing strategies, and international tax planning.
  • Manage Tax Audits: Manage tax audits, assessments, and inquiries from tax authorities, collaborating with external tax advisors as needed.
  • Oversee Tax Provision: Oversee the tax provision and reporting process, including income tax accounting, deferred taxes, and effective tax rate analysis.
  • Provide Tax Insights: Work closely with finance, legal, and other departments to provide tax insights and support for various business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Identify and Mitigate Tax Risks: Identify and mitigate tax-related risks and implement strategies to minimize exposure.
Qualifications
  • Extensive Tax Experience: 10+ years of combined public accounting or industry experience.
  • Strong Tax Knowledge: Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent).
