Hand Lay-up Specialist

As a skilled Hand Lay-up Specialist, you will play a crucial role in combining individual die cut parts onto a single liner with the assistance of production fixtures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up production fixtures to run parts efficiently.
- Verify the accuracy of colors using a color deck and product number.
- Apply individual die cut parts to premask without bubbles or wrinkles, adhering to customer requirements.
- Remove scrap liner and carefully apply finish liner.
- Clean up the setup area when the specific job is complete.
- Record the date and quantity, as well as initial operation, on the job jacket.
- Count and package completed parts.
- Pull artwork in the morning for the Art Department.
- Return artwork to the appropriate file by customer name and number.
- Ensure all artwork remains in protective jackets.
- Maintain a clean and orderly immediate work area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Self-motivation to stay productive.
- Ability to read and understand product blueprints.
- Manual dexterity in hands.
- Good eye for quality of product.
- Ability to follow directions.
