Surgical Operating Room Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Operating Room Specialist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. This is a rewarding career opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.
As a Surgical Operating Room Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. This includes preparing the surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies, handing required and requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery, and assisting with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
You will also be responsible for maintaining instruments in an organized manner and monitoring and tracking instrument counts throughout procedures, as well as assisting surgeons with provision of hemostasis during surgery.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as you will be working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, you will need to have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a patient-centered approach to your work.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance options, retirement benefits, and more.

Requirements:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
