Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations, including USP 797 and USP 800.
- Maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding.
- Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication and supply ordering, receiving, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding.
- Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding.
- Work within a team to triage and respond to all compounding needs promptly.
- Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Ohio.
- 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (8-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems.
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.
- Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
