Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and fire life safety systems to ensure prompt response to emergencies
  • Assist guests with room access and provide exceptional customer service
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to accidents, incidents, and emergencies, and provide first aid and CPR as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve safety and security issues
  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related work experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting
