Position Summary

As QuidelOrtho continues to expand, we are looking for a skilled SAP Analyst - Basis Administrator. This role entails the design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance of QuidelOrtho's SAP environments. The successful candidate will engage in daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with our SAP Center of Excellence teams on various projects. This position offers valuable exposure to SAP on HANA, AWS, ECC to S/4 migrations, and the latest cloud-based solutions, all within a supportive team environment that values work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and technical disaster recovery of SAP Basis environments, including Unix DB2, Wintel with SQL Server, and Linux/AWS & HANA systems.
  • Participate in SAP system upgrades within ECC and transitions to S/4 as part of a collaborative team.
  • Develop and implement processes for SAP performance and maintenance monitoring, analyzing data for optimization opportunities.
  • Assist application and development teams in diagnosing performance-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate practices for change management, prioritization, and scheduling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically in SAP administration and tuning activities. Experience in the Medical Device or Life Sciences sector is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0, BW & BOBJ, and CRM.
  • Experience with SAP system upgrades within ECC and migrations to S/4.
  • Ability to design and maintain SAP systems that impact business processes and users across global locations.
  • Strong computer skills, with knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

Work Environment

This role does not require strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files may be necessary. The position involves approximately 30% of time spent in meetings or collaborating with the team, while 70% is dedicated to analytical work at a desk. Minimal travel is required, including occasional overnight stays.

Compensation Transparency

The salary range for this position considers various factors, including education, experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity. At QuidelOrtho, it is uncommon for new hires to start at the top of the salary range. The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 and includes eligibility for bonuses. QuidelOrtho provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, and holidays. All benefits are non-contractual and may be modified at the company's discretion.
