The Role


As QuidelOrtho continues its expansion, we are in search of an SAP Analyst - Basis Administrator. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining QuidelOrtho's SAP environments.

The selected candidate will engage in daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with QuidelOrtho's SAP Center of Excellence teams on various projects.

In return, you will gain exposure and experience with SAP on HANA, AWS, and migrations from ECC to S/4, alongside some of SAP's latest cloud-based solutions, all while being part of a team that values information sharing, collective responsibilities, and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, configuration, maintenance, and technical disaster recovery of SAP Basis environments, including Unix DB2, Wintel with SQL Server, and Linux/AWS & HANA environments.
- Participate in SAP system upgrades within ECC and into S/4 as a team member.
- Develop and implement SAP performance and maintenance monitoring processes, analyzing data for optimization opportunities.
- Assist application and development teams in resolving performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with corporate practices for changes, prioritizing and scheduling appropriately.
- Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field.

3-5 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically in designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and tuning SAP systems.

- Familiarity with the Medical Device/Life Sciences industry is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0, BW & BOBJ, and CRM.
- Experience with SAP system upgrades from ECC to S/4.

Ability to maintain and assist in the design and deployment of SAP systems impacting business processes and users globally.

- Proficient in computer skills, including hardware, software, and networking knowledge.
- Competence in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.

Work Environment

No strenuous physical activity is required, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials may be necessary.

Approximately 30% of the time will be spent in meetings, collaborating with the team, or on phone calls, while 70% will be dedicated to desk work on a computer, conducting analytical tasks.

Minimal travel is expected, which may include air and automobile travel, as well as overnight stays.

Salary Transparency


The salary range for this position considers various factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, and candidate abilities, alongside internal equity and market alignment.

At QuidelOrtho, it is uncommon for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the salary range for their role, as compensation decisions are based on the specific circumstances of each case.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 and is eligible for bonuses.
