Job Title: ETL Developer

Location: Whippany, NJ

  • Design and develop ETL processes using Ab Initio to support data warehousing and data integration projects.
  • Collaborate with data architects to design data models and database structures.
  • Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

Data Integration:

Integrate data from various sources, including databases, flat files, and external systems.

Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data processing lifecycle.

Develop and maintain data pipelines to support real-time and batch data processing.

Performance Optimization:

Optimize ETL processes for maximum performance and efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to ETL processes.

Implement best practices for data processing and ETL design.

Testing and Validation:

Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing of ETL processes.

Ensure all solutions are tested thoroughly and meet quality standards before deployment.

Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues that arise.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, design specifications, and operational procedures.

Create and deliver reports and presentations on ETL process performance and outcomes.

Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
