Overview:
Cloud Resources LLC is seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in managing Kubernetes clusters, particularly in on-premise settings, and will be instrumental in guiding our transition towards a more automated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kubernetes Management: Demonstrated experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in on-premise environments. Candidates should have a strong grasp of container orchestration and be able to take ownership of the platform.
- OpenShift Expertise: Proficiency in OpenShift is essential, with a focus on managing Kubernetes clusters effectively. The candidate will leverage OpenShift to enhance our Kubernetes environment.
- Linux Proficiency: A deep understanding of Linux systems is crucial, particularly in on-premise contexts. This knowledge is vital for troubleshooting complex issues related to Kubernetes.
- GitOps and Automation: Familiarity with GitOps methodologies, particularly using ArgoCD, is preferred. The candidate will assist in implementing automation strategies to manage Kubernetes at scale.
- On-Premise and Cloud Experience: The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in both on-premise data centers and cloud environments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both infrastructures.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform and Ansible is required. Candidates should be capable of both consuming and creating modules, adhering to best practices in module management.
