  • Register new patients in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and assist with required paperwork.
  • Handle insurance-related tasks, including verifying patient eligibility, obtaining prior authorization, and collecting copays/self-pay payments.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner, ensuring a sufficient supply of office and clerical supplies.
  • Maintain the patient waiting area in a clean and welcoming manner.
  • Ensure that all beginning and end-of-day procedures are followed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Report any incidents or abnormal occurrences to the Office Manager.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic health records.
