About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Hygienist to join our team in Seattle, Washington or Portland, Oregon. As a key member of our environmental health and safety team, you will be responsible for managing industrial hygiene projects, supervising field staff, and providing quality assurance and control of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage industrial hygiene projects, including asbestos and lead projects, microbial and mold assessments, and indoor air quality assessments.
  • Supervise and mentor field staff to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide quality assurance and control of technical proposals, cost estimates, and reports.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue.
  • Act as a liaison and advocate for clients with environmental regulatory agencies.
  • Implement Atlas's health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial hygiene, with 3+ years of direct responsibility managing projects and supervising field staff.
  • Strong leadership and client management skills.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organizational and project objectives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • AHERA Asbestos certifications required.
  • Washington Lead Inspector/Assessor certification, a plus.
  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification.
