Job Title: Senior Industrial Hygienist

Atlas is a leading provider of civil engineering, materials testing, and geotechnical consulting services for environmental, industrial, and infrastructure construction projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Hygienist to join our team in Seattle, Washington or Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid technical background, and an excellent reputation for maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage industrial hygiene projects, including asbestos/lead projects, microbial/mold assessment, indoor air quality assessment, and industrial hygiene projects.
  • Supervise and mentor field staff, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review technical proposals, cost estimates, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue.
  • Act as a liaison and advocate for clients with environmental regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and resolving issues efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, public health, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent leadership, client management, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work under periodic time constraints and travel regionally for short periods.
  • AHERA Asbestos certifications required; Washington Lead Inspector/Assessor certification and 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification a plus.
