DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Elite Auto Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Reconditioning Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough mechanical inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and document findings.
  • Collaborate with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated costs and overall vehicle quality.
  • Perform advanced automotive repairs, including bumper-to-bumper repairs and part replacements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Work efficiently to minimize re-work and delays in production, ensuring timely completion of repairs.
  • Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure that issues have been fully resolved.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in light to medium line work, with a strong background in brakes, engine, steering/suspension, cooling, A/C, and electrical systems.
  • ASE certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical degree or professional experience equivalent is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
