Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Server Associate to join our team at TravelCenters of America. As a Server Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and ready for service.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to each guest, responding to their needs and preferences in a timely manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to effectively communicate with guests and make recommendations.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of cash handling integrity.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and composure under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent walking and bending.
