Imaging Services Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Services Administrator to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our imaging systems, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and resolve hardware and software problems, including hospital infrastructure, client-servers, and stand-alone systems.
- Provide emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance to all system hardware components.
- Maintain accurate and adequate inventory levels of supplies and parts, including record keeping of usage, orders, and replacements.
- Represent imaging services within and outside the hospital for all system-related activities.
- Assist in establishing continuing education on all system functions for imaging services and other hospital personnel.
- Local area networking experience, specifically, or 4-5 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Experience in Imaging Services operations, including reporting schedules, office procedures, processing and reporting workflow.
- Excellent computer skills, experience with interfacing and programming preferred.
- Developed verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and a high degree of fine motor skills and visual accuracy required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Associate's degree in Radiology required.
Meets the Standards of Behavior as outlined in Personnel Policy and Procedure #1, Employee Relations Code.
Demonstrates knowledge of procedures for protecting and maintaining security, confidentiality, and integrity of employee, patient, family, organizational, and other medical information.
Understands and supports the commitment of Methodist Hospitals in adhering to federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations governing ethical business practices for healthcare providers.
