Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at OLE Health. As a Per Diem Healthcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing quality primary health care to patients while working closely with other healthcare staff in a team approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and education to patients
  • Consult with staff physicians as needed
  • Review and manage patient information, including labs, diagnostic images, prescription refills, and previous medical records
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatment regimens based on assessed medical conditions
  • Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care services as appropriate
  • Provide acute triage over the phone or with walk-in patients
  • Document all appropriate information in electronic health record system
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant program or Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school
  • Current California Physician Assistant License or Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Must have or obtain current California medication furnishing license and DEA License
  • Current Basic Life Support CPR certification
  • Experience in a community healthcare center preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
