As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with diseases and adverse health conditions following established medical practice guidelines.
- Provide medical care to patients of varying types and acuity, with a focus on preventive care and health promotion.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Perform assigned procedures and duties within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing or Iowa Board of Physician Assistants.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently, utilizing electronic medical records.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Iowa.
- Registered under both state and federal Controlled Substances Acts.
- Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinic setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, administrative staff, and healthcare professionals.
