Job Title: Inpatient Physician Assistant

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Inpatient Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our inpatient oncology team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our patients' treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to adult patients in the inpatient setting
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions
  • Prescribe medications and perform procedures as authorized by DFCI privileges
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety projects
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
  • NCCPA certification and licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts
  • 2+ years of experience in inpatient oncology or hematology preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
